The Flintstones (Ricky and Dane Young, Fred and the Flintstone Five) were formed by Allan Clarke on lead vocals (b. Harold Allan Clarke, Sunday, April 5, 1942, Salford, Lancashire, UK), Graham Nash on rhythm guitar (b. Monday, February 2, 1942, The Maternity Ward, The Kimberly Hotel, Blackpool, Lancashire, UK), Vic Farrell on lead guitar (b. Victor Winston Farrell, Monday, May 5, 1945, Manchester, Lancashire, UK), Eric Haydock on bass (b. Tuesday, February, 3, 1942, Burnley, Lancashire, UK) and Don Rathbone on drums (b. Donald Rathbone, October 1942, Wilmslow, Cheshire, UK). 

This band was not connected to the Oldham Flintstones.

As Ricky and Dane Young, Fred and the Flintstone Five in September 1962 they played with Kirk Daniels and the Deltas at The Bodega in Manchester.
