They gigged (like many) all over the northwest and most of the venues others have listed but I know they did several years for Bernard Manning as the house band between the Palladium, the Embassey and a third club he ran. They also won (at least once) some kind of band competition in Blackpool (I think on one of the piers).

I believe they appeared on Opportunity Knocks and may have signed with Decca.
My grandparents owned the Grove Inn on Regent Rd which was popular with musicians.

My Dad left the group in 1965 to go to London. Not sure what happened after that although I think that Graham Gouldon may have been a member at some point.

I have attached some pics - not sure of the venues. It would be great to know if anyone remembers them and what ever happened to Pete Hawrood.
