Up until fairly recently I had been playing with the reformed Fireflites, Alan Scotson, Colin Ashcroft and others, also from St Helens. We played mainly for the love of playing, but did do a few charity gigs to raise money for a local hospice.

Sadly this is now over too, as the lead guitar, Alan Scotson died this year in April, 2013. They were good times and to relive them, even for only a short while was brilliant.
