I think the colour picture certainly shows Johnny Martin - but not The Paiges.  Fred Power played bass in each of the several line-ups- but that's not him in the photo.  The lead guitarist is Bob Scales - he left the line-up I was a member of and moved on to JM, but I don't know the name of that group.

I remember Bob Scales with the Paige's, a top lead guitarist who I knew. He played a Gibson Les Paul, even in those early days

Around 1960 I worked at Pifco on Shudehill as a dogsbody. At dinnertime I can remember sitting on the stone steps of the building listening to Terry Morton playing his Hofner Colorama.  It was the single cutaway model with three gold stripes round the side .He was a pretty good player for the time and his style seemed to be in the Buddy Holly/Joe Brown camp.I still remember it as clear as if it were yesterday and wonder where Terry is now.
