Ken and the Kombines (Monton)

I played bass in the group, with Neil Hiley, my mate who later became my brother-in-law! They were formed from two groups, The DeeJays and another that time has wiped from my memory, but I well remember Ian Plant came to us from the other group. We played for Saturday matinees for a time at The Princes cinema, managed by Jim Shepherd, who also managed us for a while.
