Among the musicians who passed through their ranks was Lol Creme, who went on to Hotlegs, 10cc and Godley-Creme with Kevin Godley. The Sabres morphed into Richard Kent Style.

Hi Ian - yes, to the best of my knowledge.  Sadly, no idea of a date - obiously early to mid 60's as it predates Harvey Starr in Richard Kent Style.
Must have been exciting times to work with G and C!  Very envious.

I’m David Solomon’s son, his surname was Solomon not Solomons..
Sadly he’s no longer with us but I’ve loved reading some of the comments and seeing the pictures of him.especially on the Proud Paws page.
Thank you for keeping his memory alive with this wonderful page.

Wow, is that Kevin Godley with the snare drum. What year was that photo taken, I knew and worked with Godley and Cream and 10cc back in the day and recorded at Strawberry Studios and it’s subsidiary Pluto with my band Strange Brew. I also used to be one of Graham Gouldmans neighbours when he lived on Norford way. All great guys and Kevin and Lol were so inavative even now there music sounds great.
