Formed in 1965 as a wild R&B band from the New Religion. You couldn't ignore Timperley band Stack Waddy, when they played it was a thunderous cacophony of sound that forced you off your seat.

Legendary BBC DJ John Peel discovered them and immediately signed them to his new label "Dandelion Records".

Their first album titled "Stack Waddy" was recorded at Londons CBS studios, production was by Clive Selwood and John Peel with Mike Ross as engineer. They later recorded a second album titled "Bugger Off". Both were re-released in 1994 on CD on "See For Miles" Records.

Barnham reformed the band in 1973 which lasted until 1976.
