At the same time, a Belfast-based group, also called The Wheels, gigged Manchester and the North West. For a time they shared a house with Rev Black and The Rocking Vicars.

Saw the Belfast Wheels at the Room at the Top in Wigan in I think, 1964 ~ they did a GREAT version of  "GLORIA" (Van Morrison/Them)

Supported them a couple of times with OUTRAGE at Room at the Top in Wigan. A superb live band who never seemed to capture their authentic live sound on record . Nice people too, Geoff Parkinson
