Warrington Pop Festival 1968

There were three agents involved in running this event.

DAVE WARWICK: who is still with the DELRICK organization.

PETE RIGBY: who is still doing the odd DJ gig and has a Facebook site which is instigated by his fans. Pete was responsible for the first Beatles gig in Warrington at the Bell Hall, ourselves, being a local group, were the first on to open the night.

CHRIS CULLETON: Also known as ‘The Longford Lover’, it was Chris who brought The Rolling Stones to the Co-op Hall in Warrington.

This man is a legend around Warrington, mention his name to anyone of mature years and you will be directed to The Red Lion in Stockton Heath, supply him with pints of mild and cigs and the stories and anecdotes will flow until the following morning.

All three agents kept our little group busy with bookings. They are all good mates and I still keep in touch with them.
