Langley Labour Club (Middleton)

See my message on Baguley Ward Labour Club! This was for Friday night which would usually have been packed. Who was new recording star Todd James? The posters for these clubs were great, my dad used to get them done by poster artist in Hulme and if somebody had been on the radio (Workers Playtime) or even a TV spot on Scene at Six Thirty they would be billed as "Granada TV Star", "Radio's Own....". Artists gave concert secretaries glossy promo photos to put up on club notice boards which featured the acts booked for the following week.
