The Albert Halls was in Victoria Square, Bolton, Lancashire and opened on Thursday, June 5, 1873 by 31-year-old Albert Edward, The Prince of Wales (later King Edward VII) (1841 - 1910) and his wife, 28-year-old Princess Alexandra of Denmark (1944 - 1925).
