Odeon (Bolton)

Went to a package show at this now demolished venue in the early sixties.I think the line up was-Susan Singer-Freddie and the Dreamers--The Searchers--Dave Berry and the Cruisers--Sons of the Piltdown men [With future Shadows bass player John Rostill] and on her first solo tour Dusty Springfield singing her new release--I only Wanna Be with You. Spoke with Tony Jackson[Searchers bass player] in a local pub and asked him why he got rid of his Violin bass for an Epiphone.He told me that he had traded it in at Hessies. After the concert I jumped into their White Commer van and got a few members autographs. Havnt a clue where they went!!!Geoff Parkinson[Ex Outrage]73 and still around
