Amber Moon

It was 1963 or 64 (ish) Me & my mates would go to see local groups (I always call them groups because the word "band" related to brass bands or dance bands). The band theme only reared its head in the 70s but thats me on my soap box again!.

We saw WAYNE FONTANA & THE MIND BENDERS & many others including a group I thought would have gone on to bigger & better things, DANNY & THE DOMINATORS (without any blackheads ) (see the M/c Evening News add on their write up).

All this & no alcoholic drinks just Pepsi or a coffee & it was here I was introduced to the most exotic food I had ever tasted ... mushrooms on toast - eeeeee thi dunt no thi born tiday !
