Casino Club (Westhaughton)
The Casino Club was at 92 Market Street, Westhoughton, Lancashire and opened in 1962.
The Casino Club was originally The Empire Cinema that had opened in the 1920's. This cinema by 1937 was part of the J.F. Emery circuit. It had a 37 feet wide proscenium. The Empire Cinema was closed by J.F. Emery circuit in 1962.
There is a picture of the house band taken in December 1962.
The Casino Club later became The Gaiety Club. Later still it became a snooker hall.
