We were the original Strollers then Frankie (Frank Worthington) joined on vocals.
We used to play a lot at Woodhouse Park Community Centre and pubs until we got in with Derek from Skyways Coffee Bar, who became our manager.

Berard and I left to get married so would not go to Holland.

Comments
I was signed up in June 1965 by a club owner to work in a trio in his club, 'The Top Ten Club' in Torremolinos. We played two summer seasons there and in winter in Tolouse. We composed and recorded the music for an American producer's film, 'Maybe You Don't Like it.' And nobody did. On my own, I was hired in Madrid as a bassist playing and recording with a number of Spanish pop stars, backing them on their tours, including CHile, Costa Rica and Colombia.
I wish I could have seen Frankie again before he died of a cardiac problem.
I have published 2 books about those eventful days: 'Olives Garlic and a Bass Guitar' and 'I Wanted to be a Bus Driver' - both books are available at Amazon.
